TESTIMONIALS FROM TEAL LAB

They called it an inspiring, energizing workshop. A path that helps to achieve greater awareness of one’s own way of behaving and that creates the conditions for concrete action. An experience that brings out who you really are. Here are the stories of some participants in the first Teal Lab, which was held in Milan on March 13 and 14.

“I was a little worried – says Marco Cisotto, HR business partner at H-Farm – that it would be the classic workshop in which you’d spend your time reading emails, but it wasn’t like that at all. Everything was really very dynamic, a lightning bolt from the blue, and it opened up my eyes to many aspects. In particular, when we simulated the interpretation of the different stakeholders that gravitate to the company and then we all defined a common purpose together: I was struck by the process. The enriching aspect was not having one role rather than another, but participating in the process and observing how different people, from different contexts, are able to define a common purpose in a collective way. This path helps to achieve greater self-awareness while simultaneously understanding others better”.

Walking Check-in

Also for Mariella Terlizzi the identification of the common purpose was one of the most significant moments of the workshop. “As a coach, I was interested – she says – in understanding how to move from theory, which I already know, to practice. I wanted to understand the methods, the mechanisms, the risks, the elements on which to leverage. Basically, I wanted to create the premises for taking a concrete step. And conducting it in this very experiential way gave me the drive to act. In fact, the workshop gives you the possibility to have a vision in perspective, first about yourself and then about the company you belong to. Moreover, it’s a great help to know that the experience doesn’t end after the two days, that the group will continue to stay in touch and confront each other to understand how to move from here on and thus work together”.

Social Presencing Theatre

For Filippo Causero, CEO of Foxwin, the deep contact with the others has been one of the most inspiring elements. “Some activities have allowed me to see myself and others differently – he says – They have made me realize once again how important it is to bring out who we are. We should all get used to doing that. But there’s a lot of fear, fear perhaps of being walked all over. Yet when we are authentic, things happen that we didn’t expect to happen and it allows us to connect with others so much more. We are already a teal company and the workshop made me understand how to improve the internal definition of roles. We’ll soon be having a meeting with clients as well to better understand the needs”.
