One of the most innovative experts in change and the founder of Theory U, the new method that is initiating profound processes of transformation in Italian companies, will be in Milan on 19 June
Otto Scharmer’s Theory U identifies the methods and approaches adopted by people who have succeeded in changing themselves and the environment they live in. In fact, it is derived from the scientific research he conducted, comparing and analysing over 100 interviews with leaders from all over the world including CEOs, politicians, artists, athletes, musicians and NGO representatives who, through their own efforts, have succeeded in changing their environments for the better.
This is the reason why the method founded by MIT Professor and founder of the Presencing institute, an international study centre for social and leadership change, has been progressively adopted in Italian companies: the method allows for an individual process of transformation that takes place in a participatory manner – shared within work groups – and, more generally, within organizations. The journey makes it possible for participants to view issues and their own work in a different way and to rediscover the value of relationships, starting with the development of every single person.
This is what motivated EcorNaturasì, a company known on a national level by way of its brands and its many activities in support of organic products and sustainable development, along with Peoplerise, a firm that promotes innovative projects related to managing change within companies, to organize an event at MIL in Milan on 19 June in collaboration with the Presencing Institute and Guerini Next, the publishers of the Italian edition of “The Essentials of Theory U: Core Principles and Applications”. Otto Scharmer will be there to guide participants through a journey of his Theory U.
